What makes your business unique?

Since we’re a small, 100%-US-based team of expert software developers that focuses on building custom software for businesses, we are very close with each other and our clients. Many of our competitors outsource their development work to overseas companies. However, we always do all of our work in-house, which allows our developers to get to know our clients and provide true recommendations and suggestions for their technology. Our focus on building two-way conversations with our clients, allows us to provide insight and consulting/advice alongside our software development work. Managing bookkeeping for software development businesses like ours in-house is challenging, so we focus on partnering with trusted professionals.

What is a next step you want to take in your business?

Previously, we’ve worked very hard to build strong, authentic relationships with our clients because we believe that truly makes us better at building custom software for them. We want to continue to strengthen our relationships with our existing clients and new clients as we continue to grow, ensuring that this priority doesn’t fall to the wayside. Additionally, as we grow, the need for support like specialized bookkeeping for software development businesses only increases. So, we’re prepared to meet this need by partnering with experts such as Group 1826.

What advice would you give to other new business owners?

Work hard, stay humble, and enjoy the journey! It’s hard work, there’s no two ways about it, but if you enjoy the daily work, it’s all worth it in the end.

How did Group 1826 help you solve a challenge in your business?

We didn’t have a reliable resource to go to for accounting, bookkeeping, and payroll questions. Being a small business, we’re all spread thin, and I simply don’t have the time to research all the questions and issues we have in that space. I knew of Group 1826 through natural networking — we’ve worked with Jeff and some of his clients to build custom software systems in the past. We’ve also recommended them to a few of our clients as well. Knowing that Group 1826 truly owns the tasks we give them, without coming back to us for answers or reasons they don’t know something, is incredible! They always work to find answers and come back to us with solutions. I rest assured when a new accounting/payroll problem comes up, knowing I can hand it over to Group 1826 and it’ll be taken care of correctly.

Whether it’s payroll, accounting, or bookkeeping for software development businesses, Group 1826 provides peace of mind by taking full ownership of these essential tasks, letting us focus on what we do best.
